I am a Real Estate Broker with an office in Mendon. As much as I make my living selling real estate I am dedicated to preserving as much Mendon land as possible and have facilitated the purchase and preservation of over 200 acres and am always working on getting more. I am passionate about preserving Mendons rural character and am opposed to any bylaw changes that would threaten that character. Public water is a threat to any towns future and I will fight its expansion with all my resourses.

The preceding pictures were posted as exhibits regarding some controversy as to the location of the Blacksmith Shop picture posted on the "Eye on Mendon" Blog. Anyone want to name the men in the picture?

Hi Gary. Isn't that the HIghway Dept.? I think we're still using the scraper :)

Thats the old Blacksmith shop in back of the shed. I believe the shed was moved there. You can see that the sign has been removed. It obviously wasn't large enough to house any large equipment so the Highway barn was built sometime after as was the Fire Station. Anybody have specific dates?
