After over 30 years with the Mendon Police Dept. Officer Phil has retired.

I am a Real Estate Broker with an office in Mendon. As much as I make my living selling real estate I am dedicated to preserving as much Mendon land as possible and have facilitated the purchase and preservation of over 200 acres and am always working on getting more. I am passionate about preserving Mendons rural character and am opposed to any bylaw changes that would threaten that character. Public water is a threat to any towns future and I will fight its expansion with all my resourses.

Phil Dunlavey probably never would have been a cop if his Dad hadn't been one. A minister or perhaps a teacher but not a cop. We in Mendon are lucky and grateful he followed in Dads footsteps. Always a perfect gentleman, Phil has raised the bar for those wanting to be a "good" cop. He always did his job without beating you with his authority. If he stopped you for speeding you felt guilty you bothered him. While Mendon may be a fairly easy town to enforce the law in as residents go we are a filter for Milford and Woonsocket. Our Police constantly interupt the flow of law breakers to and from those towns. So thank you Phil for all your years of dedicated,compasionate service and we will, no doubt,be seeing you on a detail here and there. Thank you ,my friend and enjoy your retirement!
